Moods Project

Built for patients. Designed for clarity.

Moods Project is a personal mental health tracking tool created to help patients and their providers see the full picture — not just a snapshot.

Moods Project Origins

This application was created by a software developer who has a dual diagnosis of ADHD and Bipolar 1. It is based on my own daily challenges and the medical expertise and experience of a Psychiatric-Mental Health professional.

Why Moods Project exists

Managing a mental health condition means living with patterns that are hard to see in the moment. A provider appointment every few weeks can only capture how you feel that day. Moods Project was built to close that gap — giving you a structured daily log and your provider a clear, exportable record of your actual patterns over time.

It's free, ad-free, and built for one purpose: to make your next provider conversation more useful.

Who it's for

Moods Project is designed for patients managing one or more of the following conditions:

The tracking dimensions — mood ratings, sleep periods, medication logs, and symptom severity — were chosen specifically to reflect the metrics most relevant to these conditions.

What you track

Mood
Six dimensions rated 1–10 daily: elevated, depressed, anxiety, irritability, concentration, and paranoia. Fully customisable metric names and icons.
Sleep
Sleep periods with precise start and wake times. Supports irregular and circadian patterns — not just overnight sleep.
Medications
Every dose logged with a timestamp. Dashboard alerts for overdue and due-soon doses. Back-fill support for missed entries.
Symptoms
Log symptoms with severity ratings. Add entries for any past date so nothing goes unrecorded.
Journal
Daily notes tied to your mood entry date. Full edit and delete history.

Privacy

Your data is yours. Moods Project does not sell data, display ads, or share your entries with any third party. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
